Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a man found at 721 Rouse about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 9).
A photo of the person of interest, known only as “Juan,” is attached to this news release. He is described only as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s.
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Horn and M. Cass reported:
A witness stated he arrived to a home at the above address and saw a male he knows as “Juan” in a panicked state as he was leaving the backyard of the residence. The witness went to the backyard and observed a male unresponsive with a gunshot wound. The witness then saw that Juan had fled the scene. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
