The following is Mayor Sylvester Turner’s statement on the death of Houston Fire Capt.Leroy Lucio who died from Covid-19 Monday night.
“I ask the City of Houston to join me in praying for Capt. Leroy Lucio’s family. His death leaves a void in the department and in the hearts of the men and women that he mentored and supervised during his 30 year career in the Houston Fire Department.
“We are grateful for his service to the city. May he Rest In Peace.”
