ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 31 cadets who entered the HFD Academy in June of last year, will take their Oath of Office during the ceremony and join the ranks of the Houston Fire Department. Mayor John Whitmire and Fire Chief Peña will be in attendance.

This program offers participants an opportunity to get the details on what it takes to become a Firefighter/ Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic.
