CAUSE: Unintentional (Mechanical Failure, Malfunction, Other).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the detached garage of a 1-story home. They made an offensive attack and forced entry through the garage door. The fire was quickly contained, and the home and nearby houses were checked for extension. The fire appeared to have started from tool batteries and chargers in the garage. Crews from Stations 21, 24, 37, 59 and 68 responded to this incident.
