CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy smoke and fire coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. They ventilated the roof and conducted a primary search. The crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. The Houston Police Department was on scene due to a combative resident. 43 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 39, 30, 15, 34, 45, 32, 39, 43, 56, 17, 27 and Rescue 42.
