WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: July 9, 2023, at 9:51 p.m.
WHERE: 4900 block of Fitch St. 77016.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy fire and smoke coming from a 1-story house and a shed. They made an offensive attack and quickly extinguished the fire. A primary search was completed with no one found. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 34, 15, 19, 39, 43, 56 and 30.
