Houston Fire Department Incident Update

WHAT:	House Fire
WHEN:	February 1, 2022 at 6:13 a.m.
WHERE:	7300 block of Bonita, 77016
INJURIES:	No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED:	$29 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:	$25 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:	Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:	Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from the room of a small secure and vacant 1-story home. They began an attack on the fire while protecting a nearby exposure. A primary search was completed, and the house was ventilated. The utilities were secured, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 34, 39, 43, 19 and 30 responded to this incident.
