Houston Fire Department Incident Update

WHAT:	House Fire
WHEN:	January 20, 2022 at 2:44 p.m.
WHERE:	1000 block of Theresa, 77051
INJURIES:	No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED:	$82,355 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:	$60 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:	Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:	Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find heavy smoke coming from a 1-story home with fire coming through a window and a report of a possible person trapped. Crews made an offensive attack and conducted a search with no one found. The home was ventilated, and several additional searches of the entire home were completed with no one found. Once the fire was extinguished, crews ensured all hotspots were out and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 46, 36, 23, 26, 24, 33, 35, 40, 18, 55 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
