WHERE: Coffee St. at Carmen, 77033.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $100,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke and fire coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. The utilities were secured, and a primary search was completed. The crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. CenterPoint was also notified. 40 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 55, 23, 26, 46, 35, 24 and 40.
