WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: August 23, 2022 at 1:30 a.m.
WHERE: 4700 block of Wilmington St. 77033.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $146,384 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE:Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes with heavy fire coming from a vacant 1-story house with broken windows. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search, removing burglar bars. The fire was quickly extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 55, 46, 35, 26 and 24 responded to this incident.
