CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy smoke coming from the eaves of a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and secured the utilities. The home was ventilated, and the fire was extinguished within 15 minutes. The owner stated the house had been vacant and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 46, 23, 21, 24, 25, 33, 35 and 55 responded to this incident.
