DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (candle).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 1-story house. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. The utilities were secured, and the home was ventilated with fans. Crews rotated until the fire was controlled and fully extinguished. A candle had been left burning unattended and caught nearby items on fire. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 77, 2, 78, 83, 5, 60, 66, 38, 69 and 75.
