WHERE: 2000 block of Bingle Rd. 77055.

DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Incendiary.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a house on fire, involving a nearby shed and wooden fence. They made an attack on the fire and completed a primary search. The roof was ventilated, and the ceiling was pulled to check for hidden or smoldering fire. The fire was controlled, and the Houston Police Department was requested for traffic control. HPD took a person of interest into custody and HFD Arson investigators arrived on scene to investigate the cause and origin. 47 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 5, 38, 49, 50 and 4.
