WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 2200 block of Peppermill, 77080

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke coming from a 1-story house and fire showing from the side. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. The utilities were secured, and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 66, 77, 4, 30 and the Village Fire Department responded to this incident.
