House Fire in the Spring Branch Central Area

WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: January 20, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
WHERE: 1900 block of Ojeman, 77080
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $200 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find fire coming form the side of a building. There were live power lines down in the back yard and the power company was notified. Crews extinguished the fire after shutting off an open gas line which was found in the attic and was fueling the fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause. Firefighters from Stations 4, 5, 2, 77 and Rehab 17 responded to this incident.
