WHERE: 7300 block of Bastogne Rd. 77033.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $117,500 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from a 1-story house. They made an attack on the fire and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed with two dogs found and taken out of the home. The utilities were secured, and the fire was extinguished. 35 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including crews from Stations 35, 23, 26, 46, 25, 55 and 24.
