WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: October 27, 2022, at 7:36 a.m.
WHERE: 4700 block of Doolittle Blvd. 77033.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $43,456 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $25,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find fire and smoke coming from a 1-story house. The crews made an offensive attack and ventilated the home. They quickly extinguished the fire in a common room and exterior wall. A primary search was completed to ensure everyone was safely out of the home. The resident had electrical issues prior to the fire and there was significant damage to the breaker box. CenterPoint was notified and responded to the scene. Firefighters from Stations 35, 23, 26, 46, 55, 24 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
