INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $220,952 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke inside a 2-story house with a fire in the kitchen. They extinguished the fire and pulled the ceiling to check for extension. A primary search was completed, and the utilities were secured. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 42 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including crews from Stations 23, 26, 70, 29, 52, 93 and 94.
