WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: April 25, 2022 at 5 p.m.
WHERE: 11000 block of Sagehill, 77089
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $250,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (Cooking).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find a cooking fire which spread to the stove, oven and cabinets of a home. They used a pump can to extinguish it and ventilated the house. Crews checked for extension with none found, however there was substantial damage to the kitchen and smoke damage to entire the home. Firefighters from Stations 70 and 93 responded to this incident.
