WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: December 21, 2024, at 8:18 a.m.
WHERE: 11100 block of Sagecanyon Dr. 77089.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $35,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from the attic of a 1-story house. The attached garage was heavily involved with fire and spreading to a nearby home. They protected the exposure and made an offensive attack on the fire. Crews ventilated the roof and conducted a primary search. The utilities were controlled, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 49 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Station 93, 23, 70, 71, 52, 61, 94, 37 and 24.
