DAMAGE: $150,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (unspecified electrical or mechanical malfunction).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find fire and smoke coming from a 1-story house. They made an attack on the fire and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 36 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 55, 23, 46, 35 and 24.
