ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find heavy smoke and fire coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed, and it was determined the house had no gas or electrical service. The crews ventilated the home and extinguished the fire. The homeowner had passed away and the home had been vacant with family checking on it every so often.32 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 23, 26, 46, 35, 36, 55 and 24.
