WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: September 22, 2023, at 6:06 p.m.
WHERE: 6600 block of Tam O Shanter Ln. 77036.
INJURIES: One civilian transported to the hospital.
PROPERTY SAVED: $219,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. A resident was found inside and taken outside to EMS crews. They initiated immediate life-saving care and transported him to the hospital. No one else was found inside. The crews quickly extinguished the fire and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 52 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 60, 69, 82, 2, 28, 68, 10, 51, 75, 57 and Rescue 10.
