WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: January 17, 2022 at 1:45 p.m.
WHERE: 7800 block of Bellerive, 77036
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $175 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find heavy smoke and fire coming from a home and a large add-on structure. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed and once the fire was extinguished, HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents. Crews from Stations 51, 2, 28, 68, 10, 60 and 37 responded to this incident.
