WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: May 18, 2025, at 7:41 a.m.
WHERE: 200 block of Linwood St. 77011.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from a 1-story house. They ventilated the roof and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed and the fire was quickly brought under control. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 40 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 40, 23, 19, 20, 17, 18, 29, 30 and Rescue 42.
