WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: February 20, 2025, at 1:15 p.m.
WHERE: 100 block of Delmar St. 77011.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $260,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from the attic of a house. They extinguished the fire and conducted a primary search. The smoke was cleared from the home and it was determined that the fire was caused by an electrical issue. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 20, 19, 17, 18, 40, 18, 30 and Rescue 42.
