WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: December 23, 2022 at 5:14 a.m.
WHERE: 7600 block of Linden St. 77012.
INJURIES: One civilian transported to the hospital.
PROPERTY SAVED: $100,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $150,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find heavy fire and smoke coming from a 1-story home and made a defensive attack. They brought the fire in the attic area under control and switched to an offensive attack. A primary and secondary search were completed, and the utilities were secured. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. One civilian was transported to the hospital. Firefighters from Stations 23, 20, 26, 29, 40, 24, Rescue 42 and Rehab 17 responded to this incident.
