CAUSE: Unintentional (mechanical failure, malfunction, other).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke coming from the roof of a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack on the fire in the attic and conducted a primary search. The utilities were secured, and the fire was controlled. The owner stated they had issues with the breakers tripping and discovered the fire in the attic. Crews conducted a salvage and overhaul. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 20, 45, 42, 44, 30 and Rescue 42.
