WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: March 1, 2022 at 5:19 a.m.
WHERE: 4700 block of Kinglet, 77035
INJURIES: One civilian was found deceased inside the home. Two residents were treated on scene.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find fire coming from a 1-story house. An offensive attack was made as crews conducted a search for reported victims still inside the home. A civilian was found deceased inside the house. Two residents were treated on scene. After switching to defensive mode, firefighters were able to switch back to offensive mode and the fire was extinguished at about 6 a.m. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. The Houston Police Department and Medical Examiner were also requested. Crews from Stations 21, 37, 59, 82, 48, 33 and Rescue 10 responded to this incident.
