WHAT: House Fire

INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $5,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (unattended cooking).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a light smoke coming from the door of a house and forced entry to make an offensive attack. A fire was found in the kitchen in a pot on the stove. It had extended to the cabinets and was quickly extinguished. A primary search was completed, and a pet rabbit was found and returned to the owner. Crews from Stations 19, 9, 8, 12 and 30 responded to this incident.
