WHAT: House fire.

CAUSE: Unintentional (mechanical failure, malfunction, other).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from a vehicle in the front yard of a home and spreading to the house. They found fire throughout the home and made an exterior attack until the fire was controlled. Crews removed debris and extinguished hot spots with significant damage throughout the house and a collapsed front porch. The vehicle was a total loss and was reported to have a mechanical issue prior to catching fire. 34 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 23, 26, 70, 35, 36, 55, 61 and 24.
