WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 5200 block of Grape, 77096

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find smoke coming from the side of a home and made sure everyone was safely out. Crews made an offensive attack and ventilated the roof. The home and garage were checked for extension and the fire was extinguished within ten minutes. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 21, 28, 37, 51 and 24 responded to this incident.
