WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: February 20, 2022 at 5:19 a.m.
WHERE: 13500 block of Lakeside Terrace, 77044
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $80 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $295 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from the side of a house which had caught fire the night before. A defensive fire attack was made, and water tankers were requested from the Shelby and Crosby fire departments. The fire was extinguished, and crews remained on scene while HFD Arson investigators investigated the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 32, 64, 43, 65, 102, 30 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
