WHAT: House fire.

WHERE: 4000 block of Delhi St. 77020.

DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find fire coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. The roof was ventilated, and the power company was requested for a down power line near the home. A primary search was completed with no one found. The crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. 40 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 15, 31, 30, 31, 34, 58 and 27.
