CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 1-story house. They controlled the fire and conducted a primary search. The home was ventilated, and crews checked for extension, exposing hidden fire in the walls. The utilities were controlled, and the fire was extinguished with burned wire found in a wall. 24 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 31, 15 and 30.
