WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: January 24, 2024, at 12:19 p.m.
WHERE: 15100 block of Old Humble Rd. 77396.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $200,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Arrest warrant issued for suspect for 1st Degree Arson of Habitation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming through the roof of a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack, however switched to a defensive mode. The utilities were secured, and the crews controlled the fire, going back to an offensive attack. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 29 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 64, 34, 56, 63, 31 and 30.
