WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: May 10, 2025, at 6:37 p.m.
WHERE: 3300 block of Bammel Ln. 77098.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from the garage of a house. Fire was starting to lap up to the second-floor windows directly above the garage. They made an attack on the fire and checked the interior of the residence for any extension. A primary search was completed with everyone safely accounted for. Crews controlled the utilities and ventilated the home. Crews extinguished the fire in the garage with no extension into the home or the floor above it. The fire appeared to originate from a vehicle in the garage. 44 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 37, 2, 6, 28, 3, 7, 8, 11, 33, 16, 30, and Heavy Rescue 11.
