CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire and smoke coming from a 1-story home. They made an offensive attack and removed the plywood from the windows due to the roof being too unstable to be ventilated. A primary and secondary search were conducted with no one found. Crews checked for extension in the attic and extinguished the fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 8, 7, 16, 18, 25 and 24 responded to this incident.
