INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $40,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find a vacant house and nearby home on fire. Crews made an attack on the fire and worked to protect the other nearby homes from burning. The fire was controlled just before noon and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. CenterPoint was also requested. Firefighters from Stations 15, 19, 45, 46, 9, 27, 39, 34 and 30 responded to this incident.
