WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: February 20, 2022 at 4:49 p.m.
WHERE: 3200 block of Drew, 77004
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $167.5 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $50 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke and fire coming from a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and removed plywood from the windows and doors. A primary search was conducted, and the home was ventilated. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 23, 8, 7, 18, 25, 24 and 46 responded to this incident.
