WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: February 4, 2021 at 1:30 a.m.
WHERE: 3100 block of Drew, 77004
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $40 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $60 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find heavy fire coming from a 1-story home and made a defensive attack. As crews knocked down the main body of fire, crews conducted a primary search of a nearby home. A primary search was not possible in the home on fire. The utilities were controlled, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 25, 18, 7 and 8 responded to this incident.
