WHEN: June 1, 2023 at 3:40 a.m.
WHERE: 4900 block of Marietta Ln. 77021.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $114,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $140,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find heavy fire coming from a 1-story house and forced entry. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary and secondary search. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 38 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 25, 23, 26, 46, 35, 40, 18, 24 and Rescue 42.
