WHAT: House fire.

WHERE: 4700 block of Arvilla Ln. 77021.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from the roof of a 1-story secured vacant house and made an offensive attack. The utilities were secured with a down powerline on the side of the home. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. CenterPoint arrived on scene to secure the power and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 34 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 25, 23, 26, 46, 35, 40 and 24.
