WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: April 2, 2023 at 12:27 a.m.
WHERE: 8800 block of Irvington Blvd. 77022.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $25,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $5,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an attack on the fire. A primary search was completed, and the home was ventilated. A small fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 30, 34 and 58 responded to this incident.
