PROPERTY SAVED: $110,000 in estimated property / content saved.
DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated property / content damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a natural gas grill on a second-floor balcony of a home on fire, spreading to the exterior wall. They controlled the grill fire and shut off the gas. A saw was used to open the exterior wall and remove the grill. The interior dry wall was removed to fully extinguish the fire. 38 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 11, 6 and 62.
