WHERE: 16400 block of Lost Quail, 77489
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $268,300 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $45,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the roof of a 2-story home. They conducted a primary search with no one found and controlled the fire. The fire was located near an electrical outlet with wiring, which appeared to be the source. It traveled up the wall and the ceiling was pulled to insure the fire had not spread to the attic. Firefighters from Stations 2, 59, 68, 48, 73, 80 and 82 responded to this incident.
