WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: October 20, 2024, at 4:31 p.m.
WHERE: 7100 block of Towerview Ln. 77489.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $169,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $190,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and fire coming from a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. Several dogs were rescued, and the fire was brought under control. The crews ventilated the home and fully extinguished the fire which was mostly on the outside of the home and in the attic area. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 47 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 2, 59, 68, 21, 48, 73, 80, 82 and 57.
