INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $150 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $150 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find light smoke coming from the attic and garage of a 1-story house. They conducted a primary search, controlled the utilities, and exposed the fire. A chainsaw was used to remove the burning structural members. Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters conducted overhaul. Crews from Stations 78, 83, 75 and 76 responded to this incident.
