WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: March 9, 2024, at 1:22 a.m.
WHERE: 3300 block of Westwick Dr. 77082.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $400,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $200,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find heavy fire coming from the second floor of a 2-story house. Crews made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search with no one found. Everyone had safely gotten out of the home. Firefighters pulled the ceiling, and fully extinguished the fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 78, 82, 75, 76, 83, 86 and 57.
