WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: August 21, 2023, at 10:07 p.m.
WHERE: 1200 block of Forest Home Dr. 77077.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $927,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $75,000 in estimated damage
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a fire in the back yard of a house. The side of the house and decking was on fire. The crews made an attack on the fire and requested additional manpower. A primary search was completed, and the utilities were secured. The fire was quickly controlled and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 20 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 78, 86 and 90.
